A MASS of detailed evidence to support the inclusion of the Western Weald in the South Downs National Park has been researched, written, printed and collated for delivery to the Inspector of the South Downs National Park inquiry.
Nine main South Downs Campaign proofs have been prepared that deal with different aspects of the inclusion of the Western Weald within Hampshire, for example the park boundary, recreation, the settlements of Petersfield and Liss, Woolmer Forest and the construction of the A3.

There are also proofs covering Sussex settlements, agriculture and the future of the Weald if it were to be outside the new national park.
Last week, the final proofs were compiled and finalised, ready for delivery to the Inspector on Tuesday.
