Budding artist Harry Leather was rewarded for his talents when a mosaic he designed was brought to life by a professional.
Harry, a pupil at Southbourne Junior School, designed the mosaic for a competition organised by Fishbourne Roman Palace to create a mythical being.

The six-year-old's design of a snake-like creature was brought to life by mosaic artist Aimee Saic, with the same techniques the Romans would have used.

Harry was presented with the final piece by former palace director David Rudkin.

Runners-up were given family passes to visit Fishbourne and see their designs on display.
