The next Crawley Gluten Free meeting is on the 21st April 2007. The Crawley Gluten Free Group would like to welcome all Coeliacs and all people who suffer from an intolerance to wheat, barley, rye or oats, to a gluten free "tasting session", at the St.Pauls Methodist Church Hall, Woodfield Road, Northgate, Crawley, on Saturday the 21st April, starting at 11.00am till 12.30pm, all are welcome to join in. A major supplier of gluten free foods is supplying us with lots of goodies to try out, ranging from bread, pizzas, cakes, savoury pies, doughnuts and luxury frozen deserts, come and sample them, it sounds good and its all free. The Crawley Saturday club is specifically for people with learning difficulties, aged between 18 - 30. The club is organised and run by Southdown Housing Association. It is free and it’s purpose is to offer respite to parents or family carers while those they care for spend an enjoyable day in engaging with stimulating and developmental activities. Crawley Horticultural Society is endeavouring to get the green-fingered members of Crawley and outlying districts to join our Society. There are 8 Groups that meet monthly and a shop which is open 9.00 - 12.00 noon Sundays, 9.00 - 12.00 noon Saturdays from 3rd March to 29th September and Wednesday evenings 6.30 - 8.00p.m. from 4th April to 27th June.The Shop offers composts, fertilisers, weed killers, slug pellets, stakes and other sundries.
