EXCITING plans for this years Broadfield Fete have been revealed.

The event will be held at the Broadfield Community Centre on July 5 between 11 and 4 and organisers are planning a rainbow theme.

Community Centre manager Julie Skinner said: "We have got loads of things planned for this year's event and should be the best so far.

"We are planning a magic show, a balloon race, a fun run and hopefully a tug of was."

"We are also hoping that the police and fire brigade will be able to come along."

The fete is being held to raise much needed funds for the community centre.

As well as the games and events on the day there will be a table top sale.

Anyone who would like to take part in the fun run or reserve a table in the table top sale is asked to contact Julie at the community centre on 01293 531337 or drop into the centre.
