SYBIL PHILOMENA MASCARENHAS

Sybil Philomena Mascarenhas of Pound Hill died at Guildford Nuffield Hospital on the 22nd August aged 56 years.

Mrs Mascarenhas leaves husband John, daughters Theresa and Juanne, family and friends.

A funeral mass was held on Thursday 27th August at 1.45pm at St Edward the Confessor Church followed by interment at Snell Hatch Cemetery.

IAN GRUBB

Ian Patrick Grubb of Broadfield died at East Surrey Hospital on the 24th August aged 59 years.

Mr Grubb leaves a son, daughter, his mother, a sister, two brothers and three grandchildren.

A Funeral Service and Cremation will be held on Thursday 3rd September at 3.15pm at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium.

KEITH FAIRBANK

Keith Stanley Fairbank of Ifield died at East Surrey Hospital on the 26th August aged 69 years.

Mr Fairbank leaves wife Anne, daughter Helen, son Darrell, grandson Leon and brother Barry.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 9th September at 1.30pm at St Margaret's Church, Ifield followed by cremation at Surrey and Sussex Crematorium.

Family flowers preferred.

HENRY HERIOT

Henry 'Harry' Heriot of Broadfield died peacefully at home on August 21 aged 81.

He leaves loving wife Maggie, son Richard, daughter Carole, son-in-law Gary and grandsons Matt and Ben.

A funeral will be held at St Richard's Chapel at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium on Thursday September 3 at 2.15pm.

ETHEL HUMPHREY

Ethel Victoria Humphrey died after a long illness at East Surrey Hospital on August 13 aged 89.

She leaves son Peter, daughters Linda and Joan, grandchildren and friends.

A funeral was held on August 27 at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium.

MARY SEELEY

Mary Seeley of Southgate died peacefully at home on August 6 aged 89.

She leaves daughter Dawn, son Douglas, son-in-law Roger, grandchildren Alex and Michaela, great grandchildren Chloe, Jamie and Adam. She was a much loved mum and nan and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A funeral was held on August 19 at 1.45pm at the Surrey and Sussex crematorium.

MARION STONE

Marion Jutta Stone of Ifield passed away peacefully at St Catherine's Hospice on August 26 aged 74.

She leaves three sons Martin, Robert and Frank and their families, including seven grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by many. The family wish to thank everyone at St Catherine's Hospice.

Eric Rogers of Furnace Green passed away peacefully at East Surrey Hospital on 22nd August, aged 78.

Eric leaves his wife Rita, children Alec, Anne and Trevor, and their families.

A funeral service will be held today (Wednesday 2nd September) at 2.30pm, Memorial Chapel, Surrey & Sussex Crematorium.

MARJORIE GOFF

Marjorie Goff of Pound Hill passed away peacefully at Balcombe Place Care Home on August 21 aged 90.

Widow of the late Henry Goff, she was the much-loved mother of Christine and Kenneth.

She leaves two daughters-in-law, three grandchildren and family and friends.

A funeral service will be held today (Wednesday, September 2) at Surrey and Sussex Crematorium at 3pm.

MARJORIE WARD

Marjorie Iris Ward, formerly of West Green, passed away peacefully at Greensleeves Care Home on Sunday August 23 aged 95.

She leaves sons David and Bill, daughter Barbara, foster son Keith, daughters-in-law Pat and Chris, son-in-law Don as well as nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was a former nurse, a Christian and a Socialist.

A requiem Mass will be held on Friday September 4 at the Friary Church, Town Centre, at 12.15pm followed by burial in the family grave at Snell Hatch Cemetery.

Donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society or CAFOD, c/o The Martins.

ANN JOHNSON

Ann Valerie Johnson, of Pound Hill, passed away at Ferndale Nursing Home on August 26 aged 77 years.

A retired carer, she leaves brother John and sons Paul and Norman.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium at 2.30pm.

All flowers are welcome. Donations to Samaritans c/o Francis Chappell & Sons.
