Letter: Does Government know better?

I read with interest Crawley MP Henry Smith’s defence of the Government’s Health Bill.

I am aware that the following organisations representing Health Professions are against the Bill:

The Royal College of General Practitioners.

British Geriatric Society.

Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Royal College of Nursing.

The Royal College of Midwives.

The Royal College of Radiologists.

The Faculty of Public Health.

Royal College of Physiotherapy.

The Community Practitioners and Health Visitors Association.

The Patients Association.

Is he saying all of these professional bodies know nothing about the NHS?

Or does he think he and his Government knows better? I don’t think so.

Colin Moffatt, Broadfield
