I know that many residents will greet the news that NHS Sussex has decided to retain Northgate Surgery on its existing site with considerable relief, I certainly do. GP surgeries play an important role in their community and will be increasingly key to providing healthcare on a local level over coming years.

Councillors and residents have worked across both party and ward lines to make the case for continued provision in Northgate and I am very grateful for the support which has helped us to ensure that the medical needs of the local community can continue to be met within the ward.
