Letter: Generous gifts

The Crawley Pensioners’ Active Group adopted Save The Children as their charity for 2011-2012.

Between the April AGM and December a total of £65 was collected; £30 from the sales of second-hand DVDs and books plus a generous Christmas donation of £35 from a member. This amount could, for example, provide emergency food supplements for two severely malnourished children.
