Letters: Demolition is sacrilege

Crawley Town Planners need to visit Horsham to see how it is possible to modernise, sympathetically with the old historic buildings.

Horsham has retained old historic buildings, as well as building new ones alongside them.

Crawley on the other hand lets developers do as they please, letting them demolish the historic old cinema building is sacrilege, and what are they going to build there a Morrisons supermarket. Why? We do not need it.

Who is benefiting from allowing this development to go ahead ? Not the people of Crawley thats for sure.

I shall continue to shop in Horsham .
