FORMER Crawley Town director Phil Jarman had the time of his life when he stepped out at Wembley Stadium.
He was taking part in final of the competition called the Blue Square Challenge where competitors have to chip balls into a blue box.
Jarman actually went into the final top of the table, following a superb performance at Broadfield Stadium against Ebbsfleet Utd in November, when he scored 10 goals.
The final was held both before kick-off and during half-time at Sunday's Conference Play-off final between Cambridge Utd and Torquay Utd, which Torquay eventually won 2-0.
Jarman had a terrible start on the day, missing his first two before netting five. He finished second behind Oxford Utd's representative, who scored just one more - six.
Jarman said: "It was quite nerve wracking as they asked my to have my go at half-time and I had to perform in front of my mum, 40,000 fans plus 4 million people watching on TV.
"It was an incredible experience – I was sitting next to TV presenter Helen Chamberlain which was great and it's not often a Scotsman stands at Wembley and hits so many balls.
"Seeing as we beat Torquay twice this season and they won the final, I thought this could be us next season!"
