PREVIEW: Crawley v York City
Live updates here tomorrow
THE last time these two met Crawley were unfortunate not to grab an away win.
York's top scorer Onome Sodje grabbed the equaliser after Ashley Bayes slipped in his goal.
Jon-Paul Pittman had put the Reds in the lead until Sodje pounced 12 minutes from time to level the scores.
Last week manager Colin Walker outlined his intention to get to the play-offs despite being 15 points off the chase and a draw against lowly Northwich Victoria last Tuesday might have put an end to that.
But City are a club with a big history and some good players. Sodje has 15 goals this season while Martyn Woolford is slightly behind with 14.
In recent months Emmanuel Panther has been a man in form.
In January he was up against Jamie Cook for the player of the month award.
And York's away form is good and it should be a good contest for Crawley's strong home form at the Broadfield Stadium.
The number of goals Crawley have scored at home beats the teams around them hands down and despite recent criticism that the defending hasn't been good, they have conceded relatively few at home.
Despite this, the 4-0 home defeat to Kidderminster must have dented confidence.
Steve Evans said: "Those 45 minutes were awful against Kidderminster but in the second half we had to show a lot of character and no-one can argue that we weren't the better side in that half."
