GlaxoSmithKline to close - 40 Horsham jobs go

MORE THAN 40 people from Horsham are set to lose their jobs in GlaxoSmithKline's planned closure of its Crawley factory.
Staff were told last week that the axe would fall on the plant in 2011, leaving 500 out of work.
Today the drugs giant told wscountytimes that 42 of its employees at Crawley were Horsham residents.
The manufacturing operation will be moved to sites in Spain, Canada and the USA.
