Helping battle economic hardship

HORSHAM Business Club says it is 'helping to battle the tough economic situation' by further development of its membership.
The club was set up as an independent non-profit making, networking group, where like minded individuals can meet.
"We understand it's a tough job to develop a business, and starting a business can be daunting. We aim to generate business for members by passing quality referrals, share knowledge and ideas, and provide support and advice," said Ray Merridew who joined the group recently as a marketing and design representative.
The group meets every Tuesday at Roffey Park Institute from 7 to 8.30am, allowing the rest of the day free for business as usual.
Said Ray: "It's a very social group with a real mixture of local businesses represented and the meeting includes breakfast, an added bonus! We have regular educational talks and other events which members can take advantage of.
"If you would like to come along and see how it might benefit your business come to our visitors' day on Tuesday September 9 at Roffey Park Institute. It would be great to see more local businesses taking advantage of the club and it's only £10 including the breakfast."
