FIRE investigators suspect arson was the cause of a house fire that swamped Horsham in smoke yesterday morning.

The fire gutted a third floor flat in Chichester Terrace just before 9am yesterday (Monday August 18).

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service today revealed arson was being looked at as a suspected cause of the fire.
