Pub regulars' fears allayed

REGULARS at The Partridge Pub in Partridge Green were surprised to find that scaffolding had suddenly appeared around the front and sides of the building, and that the hanging baskets – such a feature of the pub – had disappeared.
But licensees Clive and Dawn Thomas are reassuring customers that all is well.
They said: "Some customers – possibly those who had read the recent reports on wscounytimes.co.uk about local pub closures – were concerned that maybe their pub was closing down as well!''
They added: "It's business as usual here, but we are taking the chance to have all the exterior repainted before the weather closes in.
