Teenager hurt in crash

A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital last night (Thursday August 28) after aan accident in Pease Pottage.
The accident happened at 7.12pm at the junction between Grouse Road and Forest Road, close to Cottesmore School.
The 16-year0old was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill suffering neck and back pain.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said it is thought vehicle swerved to avoid a deer.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We were called to an RTC at the junction between Grouse Road and Forest Road at 7.12pm. It was a multiple vehicle collision but we don't know yet how many vehicles were involved.
"A 16 year old girl was taken to East Surrey Hospital suffering from neck and back injuries. She was a passenger in one of the vehicles and was taken to East Surrey Hospital."
