THE ORGANISERS of Crawley Folk Festival have announced the line-up for this year's event which they reckon is the best ever.

The family friendly three-day celebration of all things folk is back this June with an indoor theatre, workshop rooms and a massive outside space at The Hawth.

Look out for performances by new Americana band Guns n Horses; the infectious Wheeler Street; award-winning country singer/songwriter Lucie Diamond; tremendous blues acts Lisa Mills and Spencer Bohren - plus BBC 2 Folk Award winners, Karine Polwart and Tim Van Eyken.

To kick the weekend off in style, some very special guest performers will perform on Friday, including Sarah Savoy and the Francadians.

Mercury Prize winner Seth Lakeman, renowned for bringing folk to the masses, will also appear.

The weekend will also include free workshops, a real ale tent, craft stalls plus demonstrations in Morris, Irish and traditional folk dance.

The Crawley Folk Festival takes place between Friday 27 and Saturday, June 29.

Tickets can be purchased for individual days and there are also camping tickets available for the whole weekend.
For tickets visit the Hawth website on www.hawth.co.uk or call the box office on (01293) 553636.

A full festival line-up is available on the MySpace page on www.myspace.com/crawleyfolkfestival
