EUROVISION – everyone's favourite
guilty little secret.
If that sounds familiar then Eurobeat is sure to guarantee an evening of delight and entertainment at its cheesiest best when it comes to Brighton.

When songwriter and British passport holder Craig Christie was denied the chance to pen an entry for Eurovision in 2003 because he lived in Australia he was hurt to the very core.

But rather than give up, he dashed off his own musical instead and so Eurobeat was born.

With interactive audience voting, no night has a guaranteed result, and with audience members allocated countries on entry, the atmosphere among the cast is electric with competition.

Starring Les Dennis as children's TV presenter Sergei and Mel Giedroyc as Boyka – former Olympic pole-vaulting champion, lifestyle programme hostess and cabaret singer, the action takes place in sunny, safe and secure Sarajevo.

And even the face of Eurovision – Terry Wogan – will be present, well, on a big screen anyway.

And remember, just like Eurovision you can't vote for your own country –
but there's nothing wrong with bribing other countries to do it for you!

Whether you're in love with Lulu and Lordi, bonkers for Buck Fizz and Brotherhood of Man or simply delirious for Dana International, (or just
don't get how Serbia won in 2007) Eurobeat can't fail to get your vote.

Eurobeat is playing at the Theatre Royal in Brighton until Saturday
August 2. Ring the box office on: 0870 0606 650.
