ALL budding Leona Lewis' and Will Youngs' will have the opportunity to become a Star for the Night next
month.
The Hawth will be hosting auditions for the singing competition on July 26 which will culminate in the final show at the Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead on September 3.

It will be hunting for the finest local talent in the Crawley, Horsham
and East Grinstead area with between 12 and 15 singers being picked to compete in the finale.

The brains behind Star for the Night is Paul Mewse who last hosted the
show four years ago.

He said: "There are a lot of people in the area who want to do this. People often think they're a really good singer but don't know where to go from there."

Singers will also have to sing in front of three judges from a music or theatre based background.

The competition is open to soloists and duos and applicants have to be over 16.

Entrants must pay £4 to take part in the audition.

Singers are required to bring along a backing track or can sing accapella.

Anyone having problems obtaining a backing track, can be advised where
to order from by the organisers.

Call Paul Mewse on (01342) 302022, visit www.starshow.co.uk or email
mail@starshow.co.uk to book an audition or to obtain further information.

The average ticket price for the show for anyone coming to watch is £8.
