Plans for this year's Mid Sussex Competitive Music Festival are well under way and all budding musicians are beginning to prepare for the event in November.
The festival is held over two weekends, November 8 and 9 and November 15 and 16 and will be held at Burgess Hill School for Girls.
Organisers are encouraging anyone learning an instrument or playing in an ensemble, or who loves to sing, to enter some classes and receive some useful tips from internationally renowned musicians.
The 2008 syllabus is now available in schools, music shops and libraries in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead and many other towns in the Mid Sussex area.
If you cannot find a copy in your local library or music shop then send a sae A5 size to N Preston Bell, MSCMF, Stumlet, Oldlands Avenue, Balcombe, West Sussex, RH17 6LW requesting your copy.
