Cuckfield war-time party

PAPER hats and Union Jacks were out in force at Cuckfield when children held a commemorative war-time party.

Year three and four pupils from Holy Trinity Primary School re-created a traditional street party held during the V.E Day celebrations to mark the end of the Second-World-War in Europe in 1945.

Pupils have been studying life on the homefront as part of the national curriculum.
