20 Sussex police arrested in two years

SHOCKING figures have revealed how 20 Sussex coppers were arrested in the last two years for serious offences ranging from sexual assault, actual bodily harm and drink driving.
A whopping 20 off-duty officers and one on-duty police officer were arrested on charges such as sexual assault and drink-driving between April 1 2006 and August 31 this year.
The figures were obtained from Sussex Police under the Freedom of Information Act which shows a number of police constables; sergeants and an inspector arrested over the past two years.
