Armed robbers hold up bookies

KNIFE-WIELDING robbers held up a bookies in the town centre and fled with cash from the tills.
The police helicopter was launched after the robbery at William Hill Bookmakers in the High Street on Sunday afternoon.

A member of staff was threatened with knives by the offenders before they escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash.
