The 22-year-old woman killed in a collision with a lorry has been identified as Sharanjit Mand.
Sharanjit, known by friends as Sharan, from Grange Close, Three Bridges, fell under the wheels of a large goods vehicle last Tuesday evening.
The popular 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident at Woolborough Lane, Manor Royal.
The driver of the goods vehicle, a 51-year-old man from the Horsham area, was uninjured.
The road was closed for four and a half hours whilst police conducted their investigation.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Sergeant Andy Judson, Haywards Heath Road Policing Unit, on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Griston.
