Man dies after collision between car and motorbike

A MAN has died after a collision between a car and a motorbike in Crawley on Tuesday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on Horsham Road (A2220) at around 9.10pm on March 9.

The 24-year-old pillion passenger of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene after the blue Yamaha bike he was travelling on collided with a red Vauxhall Astra near to the junction with Goffs Park Road.

The 28-year-old man driving the bike sustained slight injuries and was taken to the East Surrey Hospital, Redhill.

The man was later discharged and is helping police with their enquiries.

The Astra driver, a 47-year-old woman from Crawley, was uninjured in the collision.
