The singer, who recently split from his glamour model wife Katie Price, also known as Jordan, mentioned he wanted to get back into the martial art.

Paul Hawkes, of Kung Fu Schools, Spindle Way, said: "He wrote that he used to do kung fu and was in great shape when he did it, so we contacted his PR company and they came to the school and checked everything out.

"Peter came along with his brother Mike and film crews for the first visit and had a lesson. They were here for a couple of hours and filmed for about an hour and a half. We sat upstairs and had a chat off camera. They are both remarkably nice. Peter is such an easy-going guy and a very genuine person."
