UPDATED: Lorry stuck under bridge

FIRECREWS are battling to free a lorry that got stuck under a bridge at Gatwick this morning (June 30)
The lorry got stuck under the passenger bridge which runs under the terminal building close to Gatwick Railway Station on the A23.

Firecrews rushed to the scene at 08:13 this morning (June 30) and are currently trying to free the trapped lorry.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "There is currently a lorry stuck under a bridge close to Gatwick train station. Two appliances from Crawley have gone out and crews from Horley.

"It is stuck under the passenger bridge by Gatwick Railway station on the A23 which runs under the terminal building.

"Crews were called out at 08:13 this morning."
