A teenage boy has died after taking ecstasy at a party in Broadfield.
Ex Thomas Bennett pupil Kieran Lindsey, 18, collapsed foaming at the mouth, at a house in Sundew Close in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Observer understands that youngsters continued to party around the sick youth for several hours before dragging him to nearby Snowdrop Close and dumping him.

When paramedics were finally called the teen was already in a critical condition and was later pronounced dead at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

Three men and two women from Crawley, were arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class A drug before being bailed pending further enquiries.

Kieran…cannot believe it.
You will never be forgotten, Me, Georgie and Luke have got some wiked memories of you!
Although we didn't see you much lately when we did you always had a story to tell! Always singing and MC-in!
Please let this be a rude awakening to all the youths that do Class A's!...
All our Love Cheyenne & Georgie x X x

still cant quite believe he has gone, its a tragic loss!
Dont think it will ever sink in, he was such a character and its going to be strange without him.

he was always there to cheer me up with his cheeky ways haha bless him!
My heart goes out to all of his family.

Such a huge Shock. What is this world coming to? I think this should be a wake up call. Its so upsetting knowing that he was ignored and dumped (in hope that he will be ok). Didnt they stop to think? Thats someone's child? It just shows what kind of people are out there. Kieran was amazing guy and had alot of friends. You would think that one of them would of made sure he was ok. Its really sad. He will be missed by everyone. My Heart goes out to his family and close friends. Please let not this happen again.

Now is not the time to apportion blame, however if Kieran was at your house, your obviously an adult and if you were made aware that he had already taken pills and alcohol, do you not think it would have been a good idea to call an ambulance? Such a shame and a waste of a young life because people were too busy having "fun" to care

This is just so very sad. There is too much drug use in our town....our younger and older people need to realise that taking these drugs are like writing your own death sentence. This just proves it. Whoever is responsible for selling/giving these drugs to Keiran will have to live with the fact that they murdered him for the rest of their lives - remember though...what goes around, comes back around...you will get payback some way or another in your lifetime!!! My thoughts are with this young mans family and friends & all the people that knew him - I Did not know him or ever meet him...I have just read about his sudden death on-line today and am saddened to read about the apalling situation he was left in.

My deepest sympathy goes out to keirans parents and his family at this sad time.
I agree with upset&sad, what goes around DOES come around. I hope the people who gave him drugs lives with this for the rest of their junkie lives, cos quite frankly if that was my child god help them. They dont care who buys the stuff or who they sell it too, cos all they really after is to make money, probably to support their own habits etc.
CCTV in broadfield?????? who else with me on that?

This is very sad, but I think it should be said that this young man did not die from taking extasy, (as the media would have you believe)Obviously other people took the same drug that night without ill effects. He died because he was kicked in the head whilst in a vunerable state. In my opinion, the police should concentrate on finding the person that attacked him and indeed charge that person with murder, rether then waste time charging a small time dealer.
