Twenty workers carrying placards are protesting outside the council offices in the Boulevard in a dispute over pay.

School supports workers - not teaching staff - have also walked out of Seymour Primary School and Broadfield East Infant School.

Seymour Primary, Seymour Drive, Broadfield, will be closed today and on Thursday (July 17) thanks to the UNISON walk out.

Broadfield East Infant School, Vulcan Close, Broadfield, is also closed today but staff say its doors should reopen tomorrow.
