Arson attack on van in Crawley

A van was badly damaged by an arson attack in Crawley.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to St Joan Close, Langley Green, at 11.49pm on yesterday (February 1).

A spokesman said half of the Luton van’s passenger compartment was destroyed by fire and the rest by heat and smoke.

Firefighters believed it was arson and used breathing gear and a hose to put it out.
