Arsonists set fire to domestic garage in Crawley

Two fire crews were called after arsonists set fire to a domestic garage in Crawley.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue was called to a domestic garage block in Lark Rise, Langley Green, at 10.05pm on Saturday (September 26).

A spokesman said the garage was well alight by the time the Crawley firefighters arrived.

Firefighters in breathing gear used a hose to put out the blaze which was started deliberately.

Half the garage was damaged by fire and half by smoke.

Firefighters used a positive pressure ventilation fan.

They left at 10.29pm.
