A two-year-old baby girl was taken to hospital after the buggy she was in and a car collided.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the collision happened outside Three Bridges Station, in Haslett Avenue East, Three Bridges, just before 3.50pm yesterday (Thursday December 18).

The baby received a bump to the head and was taken to East Surrey Hospital at Redhill as a precaution.

The mother, who was pushing the buggy, and the driver of the car were unhurt.
