Some 65 people attended a ceremony which honoured 17 young offenders who took a course to improve their lives.
Band of Brothers is a youth initiative that has men from all walks of life act as mentors to young men with troubled pasts. Participants of its Crawley course shared their experiences at the event in Crawley Youth Centre on January 28. Henry Smith MP, the Mayor of Crawley, and representatives from community groups the men helped attended . Mentor Darren Macdonald said the men had made “fantastic” progress.
