The body of a man was found after police were called to a flat in Crawley.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said officers were called to the property in Garden Walk, West Green, after concerns were expressed for the welfare of a man living there.

The body of a 50-year-old man was found inside the flat at 1pm on Monday February 23.

The spokesman said: “There were no suspicious circumstances and a postmortem found death had resulted from natural causes.

“The Coroner will not be holding an inquest.”
