Camping equipment stolen from shed

Thieves broke into a shed and a storage area in the same road on the same night.

Police have not confirmed whether the break-ins in Pound Hill were linked but are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The break-ins happened overnight on Saturday January 24 in Stone Court.

The shed’s lock was broken and camping equipment, including a camping stove, two inflatable beds and a mini fridge were taken.

The lock on the storage area was also broken and a tyre inflator was stolen.

Witnesses or anyone with information about wither break-in are asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.

Quote serial number 0461 of 24/01 regarding the shed and 0652 of 24/01 regarding the storage area.

A garage was broken into in Furzefield, West Green, between January 22 and 24 but nothing was taken.

Witnesses can call 101 quoting serial number 0911 of 24/01.
