Car damaged by Crawley arson attack

A car has been left badly damaged by an arson attack in Crawley.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to Fennel Crescent, Broadfield, at 2.15am today (Tuesday December 29).

Firefighters used breathing gear and a high pressure hose reel to put out the blaze.

Half of the car was fire damaged and police was called at 2.40am.

A Sussex Police spokesman said there were no reported injuries.

Police enquiries were continuing.
