There are just a few days left before the deadline for nominations for the first Crawley Community Awards.

The awards, being run by the Crawley Observer in partnership with Crawley Borough Council and The Hawth have already attracted around 100 nominations, which our judges will consider for each of the 16 categories.

As well as inspiring neighbours, charity workers and carers, four awards will celebrate people dedicated to sport and the arts.

For sports, they could be a referee or coach who has made a difference to teams and individuals in a club.

In the two arts categories, judges are looking for people who have made a contribution to drama, photography, painting, film and drawing.

Nominations must be in by Sunday January 31. Either fill in the form in the paper and post it to the address given, or fill in the online form at https://goo.gl/bb66Ju
