Community grants of up to £1,000 on offer

Charity and community groups can apply for grants of up to £1,000 from Crawley Borough Council.

The council will consider supporting proposals with links to local priorities such as volunteering, cultural development, supporting youth and community development.

Cllr Nigel Boxall, Cabinet member for Community Engagement, said: “These community grants enable many local not-for-profit groups to provide much needed services community-wide.

“I’d urge Crawley charities and voluntary groups to apply for this last round of council funding for 2013/14 because we may be able to support their work and together generate more local community benefits in Crawley.”

Organisations should apply by February 17 for grants of up to £1,000. Further information and applications forms are also available at
