Crawley A Levels: “Superb” results from Holy Trinity

Students at Holy Trinity School were praised for their “superb” A Level results.

The school, in Gossops Green, handed out results for its A2, AS and BTEC Level exams today (Thursday August 14).

Some 98 per cent of the students earned A*-E grades at A Level, 70 per cent of which were A*-C and 23 per cent A*-A.

headteacher Paul Kennedy welcomed the results and said: “These are excellent results and build on the previous successes of our Sixth Form.

“This year group has worked extremely hard and all credit should be given to them and the teaching and support staff. They have also been fantastic leaders and role models for the rest of the school.”

When it came to the BTEC results, one in five of the Year 12 and Year 13 results were given a Distinction* grade.

Mr Kennedy added that 58 per cent of all the grades were either Distinction* or Distinction grade which he said was “an astonishing achievement”.
