The Crawley ASDA store and its customers have helped the company raise more than £12,000 for the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Stores across the South East held a range of special events to raise money for the Air Ambulance as it marks its 25th anniversary – selling raffle tickets to win a new Mini, holding bucket collections, tombolas, dress up and dress down days, and selling wristbands.

Nine representatives from various stores were recently given a tour of the air ambulance base in Kent as they handed over the cheque for £12,145.

The Mini has been on show at sten stores, including the Crawley one in Pegler way.

People can still buy a ticket for next month’s draw online. Tickets for the raffle cost £5 each and can also be purchased online at www.raffle.me.uk. The draw will take place on December 15.
