A Crawley charity is holding a fundraising raffle with two flights to New York as the first prize.
The Matthew Russo Foundation – set up in the memory of a seven-year-old boy from Tilgate – raises money for existing charities that support children with special needs and organisations that support families through bereavement.
The foundation also supports individual families with disabled and seriously ill children and young people through the allocation of grants/awards for things that families require.
This include the purchase of equipment including sensory toys, computers and much needed family breaks or respite.
Since Matthew died in 2010, the foundation has raised thousands of pounds in his name.
The raffle will be drawn by Crawley mayor Cllr Bob Burgess on February 14.
First prize is two flights to New York with Virgin (taxes not included).
Second prize is one week in a villa in Florida.
Third prize is one week’s holiday in a caravan in Norfolk.
Tickets cost £2 each and can be bought via the foundation.
