A man from Crawley was caught drink-driving after travelling slowly along a Horley road.

Gary McKinley, of Ennerdale Close, was arrested at 10.45pm on June 20.

Police said they stopped the 28-year-old in his Vauxhall Astra after they saw it moving slowly in Balcombe Road, Horley.

McKinley pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on July 13.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £560 and ordered to pay £235 costs and a £56 victim surcharge.
