A Crawley man has pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

Minesh Parbat, 35, of Gregory Close, Maidenbower, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Lewes Crown Court today (Friday January 9).

It was alleged he caused the death of Lisa Watling, 28, of Kestrel Close, Langley Green, on March 9 2014.

Lisa Watling died after a black BMW Z3 sports car, in which she was a passenger, collided with a fence in Crawley Avenue.

The trial will be held at the court on July 13.

It is estimated to last five days.

Parbat has been released on bail.
