CRAWLEY Town’s League 2 match at home to Cheltenham tonight is subject to an 11am pitch inspection.

A party of fans and club officials helped clear the covered Broadfield Stadium playing surface of snow, and the Reds are confident of getting the match played after their visit to Bradford was called off four hours before kick-off on Saturday.

The pitch has been under covers since before the weekend’s plunging temperatures and subsequent snowfall, and it is hoped the pitch will pass the planned inspection.
