Thieves stole around £5,000 worth of tools after breaking into a van in Crawley.

The break-in happened in Autumn Close, Southgate, between 7.30pm and 9pm on Tuesday last week (October 13), said police.

A spokesman for Crawley Police said two breaker diggers and a disc cutter were among the tools stolen.

Witnesses can call 101 quoting 1451 of 13/10.
