Fish and cash has been stolen in a Crawley chippie raid.

A police spokesman said the fish and chip shop was burgled and an attempted break-in was made at a bakery in Ifield Parade overnight on Thursday (May 19).

Police appealed for witnesses after the fish was stolen from a fridge in the eatery. The exact amount of cash stolen is not known, said a spokesman.
