Burglars stole a wedding ring and passports from a Crawley home.

A spokesman for Crawley Police said the house in Selham Close, Ifield was raided on July 23.

An occupant returned home from work to find it in a mess. A wedding ring, gold necklace, Samsung phone, tobacco, cash from a purse, passports and bank cards were stolen.

It was believed thieves gained entry via an open window.

People with information were asked to call 101 quoting 1057 23/07.
