A Crawley man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.

Vehicle hire firm Hertz called Sussex Police to Gales Place, Three Bridges, at 2.44pm on Wednesday (September 2).

Pepper spray was used on a man who was acting aggressively and smashed a window.

A police spokesman said: “A 40-year-old man from Crawley has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and is currently in police custody.”
