Crawley man taken to hospital after County Mall attack

Police have appealed for witnesses after a Crawley man was taken to hospital following an attack in County Mall.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the man, 30, was punched twice in the face near Primark at around 5.30pm on Saturday (October 17).

He was walking with his girlfriend at the time.

A man, 24, of Crawley, was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until November 21.

Witnesses were to contact police by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.ukor call 101 quoting serial 1083 of 17/10.
