Crawley Police has urged van owners to fit additional locks to their vehicles after a spate of break-ins.

Three Ford Transit vans overnight break-ins were reported to police on Friday (June 19).

A Hammer drill, jigsaw, two routers, two drills, laser level and chopsaw were stolen from a van parked in Reynolds Road, West Green.

A Hilti breaker, laser level, Stihl disc cutter and transformer from one parked in Findon Road, Ifield.

The third van was broken into in Caburn Heights, Southgate, but nothing was stolen.
